What began as a single entrepreneurial venture has grown into a diversified group of businesses spanning industries, geographies and generations.

In 1976, T. M. Lalani founded Indication Instruments Limited in Faridabad. From that first manufacturing venture, GroupMega expanded into financial services, media and communications, mobility, hospitality, natural resources and sports.

Today, each business operates in its own field while remaining connected by the principles that shaped the Group from the beginning: integrity, innovation, resilience and a commitment to creating value.

The Journey So Far

From one manufacturing venture in 1976 to a diversified group spanning seven industries, GroupMega’s journey reflects five decades of enterprise, adaptation and growth.

  1. 1976

    T. M. Lalani establishes Indication Instruments Limited in Faridabad, laying the foundation for GroupMega.

  2. 1986

    The Crayons Network is established, marking the Group’s entry into advertising and communications.

  3. 2000

    Mega Cabs is incorporated, beginning a journey that leads to the launch of India’s first radio taxi service in 2004.

  4. 2021

    Crayons creates India’s largest independent advertising network, bringing together Omni, COEUS, All White and Mega Studios.

  5. 2023

    Crayons Advertising Limited completes its IPO and lists on NSE Emerge, marking a new chapter for The Crayons Network.

  6. 2026

    GroupMega marks 50 years since the founding of its first venture.

Mr. T. M. Lalani

Group Chairman

T. M. Lalani is the Chairman of GroupMega and the entrepreneur who started it all. In 1976, he founded Indication Instruments Limited in Faridabad, a manufacturing business that today designs digital displays, instrument clusters, gauges, sensors and switches. From that first venture, the Group has grown across financial services, media and communications, mobility, hospitality, natural resources and sports, reaching fifty years in 2026. Guided by his belief that a business succeeds when it combines innovation with human strength, he has built the Group on integrity, resilience and a commitment to creating lasting value, and continues to guide the businesses that carry his vision forward.

Mr. Kunal Lalani

Group Managing Director

Kunal Lalani is the Group Managing Director of GroupMega and Chairman of Mega Corporation Ltd., the Group’s listed financial services business. A graduate of the University of Delhi, he began his career in the family’s manufacturing business, Indication Instruments, before taking on a larger role in the Group’s expansion into media and communications and mobility. He has been closely associated with The Crayons Network and with Mega Cabs, which launched India’s first radio taxi service. Today, he guides the Group’s businesses across their many industries, from financial services to media and mobility.

Mr. Ashraye Lalani

Group Director

Ashraye Lalani is a promoter-director of GroupMega, with ownership and board-level roles across the Group’s businesses. He holds an honours degree in Economics with Accounting from City University of London and a Bachelor’s degree in strategic management from The London School of Economics, and brings a global perspective to the Group’s growth. As Director, Growth & Technology, he leads expansion and technology strategy across the Group’s marketing services, financial services and mobility verticals, and has driven new business, new venture creation and the digital and tech-integrated solutions behind much of its current portfolio.

Ms. Loveena Kansal

Business Head, Mega Corporation Ltd.

Loveena Kansal is the Business Head at Mega Corporation Ltd., the listed financial services arm of GroupMega. A veteran leader in the BFSI sector and a specialist in digital transformation, Loveena brings more than two decades of deep industry expertise spanning banking, insurance and NBFCs. Throughout her distinguished career, she has held pivotal leadership roles at premier financial institutions, including IndusInd Bank, RBL Bank, Religare Finvest and Max Life Insurance. Her expertise lies in uniting cutting-edge digital channel innovation with robust strategic partnerships to unlock enterprise value. At MegaCorp, she is setting up a digital-first NBFC spanning retail, EV and MSME lending. Renowned for constructing scalable digital lending ecosystems, Loveena is instrumental in steering the Group’s next generation of tech-driven financial growth.

Mr. Amit Banka

Chief Financial Officer, Crayons Advertising Ltd.

Amit Banka is the Chief Financial Officer of Crayons Advertising Limited. A Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary and B.Com (Hons) graduate, he brings over 24 years of finance leadership across manufacturing, construction, retail and technology sectors. His expertise spans strategic financial planning, treasury, controllership, taxation, corporate restructuring, internal controls and corporate governance, driving balance sheet strengthening and sustainable growth. Prior to joining Crayons, he headed Finance at Biotique and Globus Infocom Limited and held senior roles at Kajaria Ceramics Limited. He is committed to financial discipline, transparency and long-term value creation for all stakeholders.

Mr. Surendra Chhalani

Director, Mega Corporation Ltd.

Surendra Chhalani is the Director of Mega Corporation Ltd., where he oversees and guides the company’s financial operations. A graduate of Rajasthan University, Bikaner, he brings his leadership and financial expertise to the Group, contributing to the management of its financial affairs and supporting the organisation’s business objectives and growth.
